With the TikTok tutorials and the DIY boom through lockdown, it’s a sign that you should get your hands dirty. Try making this aesthetic DIY foam mirror with just under RM35. Get creative and turn your mirror into an art piece. Mind you, the results are pretty rewarding so let’s get started:
All You Need:

Shop here: https://shp.ee/6t5gses - A3 Mirror (From RM12) (You can do it on a mirror of any size)
- Cardboard
- Decorations (optional)

First things first, spread out some newspaper or a piece of large plastic to prevent staining the floor. Stick a large piece of cardboard behind the mirror or cut it into small pieces and stick it around the edges. Just make sure the cardboard goes over the edges so that you’ll have more space to work with the foam.

Here comes the fun part. Start spraying the foam spray, covering the edges of the mirror and the cardboard. You can go creative here and control how much foam you want on that mirror. Mind you the foam dries up pretty fast so you have to work fast. You can practice a little on the cardboard surface before going straight into the edges just to be safe.
Disclaimer: The smell of the foam spray might be unpleasant, so make sure to wear a mask and gloves for safety purposes.

Once you’re done with the foam spray, you can either leave it there or, level up by adding some tiny decors onto the foam surface. Be it preserved flowers, mini legos or accessories, it’s your art piece. Just make sure to press them into the foam quickly and firmly before it dries up.
