Zalira has shared with us how she decorated her 1400sqft landed property into a Mid-Century Bohemian home in Selangor without any renovations.

If you’re a renter, you’ll know that most of the rental properties in the market are either unfurnished or comes with old, hideous decor. Revamping the whole space with new furniture can burn a hole in your pocket. Zalira revealed that most of her furniture is sourced second-hand. You can get most of them at a good price online or from Facebook Marketplace.

Old furniture is basically a diamond in the rough. With a little DIY, they can look brand new and add personality to your space. Earth-toned is highly recommended to create a zen ambiance, just like her wood-toned and rattan furniture. It’s the key furnishing that brings the whole space together.

Adding houseplants to your space is also essential when it comes to Mid-Century Bohemian designs. Not only will they bring your space to life and boost overall well-being, but they also create a cozy, harmonious vibe. Plus, houseplants are inexpensive and easy to maintain.
